Dress Code
- Jeans, sneakers, flip-flops, sweat suits and t-shirts are not permitted at Fiddler’s Elbow.
- Golf attire is appropriate for post-golf festivities.
- The car ride is about 30-40 minutes from the Holland Tunnel directly out Route 78.
- NJ Transit Trains run to Morristown, Somerville, or Peapack-Gladstone.
- You would need transportation from the train to the course. If you need transport from the train station to the event, please let Jason know and we’ll put the word out for Chapter members who will be driving.
Golfers – Registration
- If registered before June 23, the cost per golfer is $625 ($2,500.00 for a foursome).
- If registered after June 23, the cost per golfer is $675 ($2,700.00 for a foursome).
- Golfer fees include sleeve of balls, round of golf, lunch, cocktail hour, dinner, program, and co-branded hat.
- If the group has a number of golfers NOT divisible by four, Veronica will pair people up with other golfers.
- We will request Veronica and the CGE team to put foursomes together based on our lists of registrants.

Golfers – Day of Event
- Check in begins at 10:30.
- Golf club rentals available for $75.00
- Driving range and putting green are open starting at 10:30.
- There will be a putting contest prior to shotgun start
- Both 18-hole courses will be used for the event
- Buffet lunch is served from 11:00 – 12:30
- Shotgun start 12:30.
- On course contests:
- Longest drive
- Beat the pro
- Pot of gold
- Hole in 1 (win a car!)
- On course snacks will be provided including drinks and appetizers from The Capital Grille.
- Dinner starts at 5:30 pm and should end about 7:30.
- Male and female locker rooms available for changing or showering throughout the day and before dinner.
Volunteers
- Two volunteers are needed to run the putting contest. Arrive at 10:00 am. You would go out on the course in the afternoon. Let Veronica know if you would like to take on this role. It’s not hard and can be a lot of fun.
- All other volunteers arrive at 10:30. This will give you time to eat lunch before your briefing.
- You will work in pairs heading out to a hole to monitor a contest such as hole-in-one or pot-o-gold. You will be assigned to the same hole for the afternoon. You will be rotated off the hole every hour by another pair. You can take the time to cool off, use the bathroom, reapply sunscreen etc. Then it’s back out onto the course.
- You should finish between 5-5:30.
- Cocktail hour begins at about 5:30.
- There will be a cash bar.
- If volunteers would like to stay for the cocktail hour and dinner, they are welcome.
- Please cover the cost of the dinner which is $99.
- Normally dinner is $125 but you can pay what Veronica (and all volunteers) are paying, $99.
- If you stay for dinner, please call Veronica so she can process a payment.
- Normally you would process payment through the website, but there is no $99 option.
- Dinner will end about 7:30 pm.
General Information
- There will be a 50/50 raffle during the day.
- During the nighttime segment there will be a charity auction.
- Event will be held rain or shine
